Q. Do you offer Free Wi-Fi?
A. Yes, throughout the resort
Q. How are your rooms categorized?
A. Our rooms are categorized by view type. Our first category is the Standard Room with no particular view. The second is the Superior Resort View with views to the pool or other resort areas. The third is the Partial Ocean View with partial views to the ocean contrasted with island and resort views. The fourth and best category we have is the Ocean Front View with spectacular views to the Caribbean Ocean.
Q. Do you pre-assign rooms?
A. We usually assign our rooms at check in based on the room type booked. However we have a guest relations manager you are welcome to email special requests at least one month prior to your arrival date to see what we can arrange for you. Email us at HIAruba@ihg.com for special requests.
Q. Do you have safes?
A. Yes, in all rooms it is complimentary
Q. Are telephone calls (especially 800 numbers) free?
A. 800 numbers are not free, nor are any local or international phone calls made from your room. The rates are established by our local telephone carrier.
Q. Are the Bicycles complimentary?
A.Yes, you can reserve your complimentary bicycle daily from 9:00am – 1:00pm & 2:00pm – 5:00pm at our Kids Club/Activity Center.
Q. Why are your bicycles painted chardonnay and merlot colors?
A. We proudly serve Cono Sur Bicicleta as our house wine, so we painted our bicycles in accordance.
Q. Where is the Kids’ Club/Activity Center?
A. Kid’s Club/Activity Center is located on the beach side of Palm Tower. It opens daily from 9:00am to 5:00pm and offers a variety of activities and games for children from the age of 4 to 12.

Q. How do I reserve a palapa?
A. The palapa is the small wooden structure on the beach resembling an umbrella. Every day at the Ocean Side Towel Hut starting at 3:45pm a representative will start handing out raffle tickets (1 ticket per room). At 4:00pm raffle will start; once your number is called, with your raffle ticket you can reserve the palapa of your choice from the available palapas for next day use. Once you have made your reservation, please be at your palapa by 10:30am as our staff starts the process of reassigning the palapas that are not being used.
There is a section of palapas and cabanas available for rent at an additional cost. The palapas available for rent are located on the beach side of the Ocean Tower. The cabanas available for rent are located at the Sea Tower Pool Area. Both sections rent noon to 5:00 pm for next day use, as long as supplies last.
The umbrellas around the ocean pools are first come first serve basis.
Q. What transportation service can we take to the Resort from the Airport?
A. Taxis or Car Rental, Taxi Charge (one way): approximately $30.00 USD. Time by Taxi: 20 minutes. We do not provide shuttles from the airport to the resort.
Q. What are the regular check-in and check-out times?
A. Check in time starts at 4:00pm and check out time before 12:00noon.
Q. Can I request an early check-in?
A. Our regular check-in time is 4:00pm. Please contact the front desk to request an early check-in. All requests will be based on availability.
Q. Can I request a late check-out?
A. Our regular check-out time is 12:00 pm. Please contact the front desk to request a late check-out, be advised that an additional fee may apply. Please note IHG Rewards Club® elite members (Spire & Platinum) may extend check-out to 2:00pm upon request at no additional charge. All requests will be based upon availability.
Q. How many IHG Rewards Club Rewards® points do I need to redeem for a Reward Night?
A. IHG Rewards Club Rewards® members need 40,000 points or more depending on their reservation to redeem for a Reward Night. Please call IHG Rewards Club Service Center at 1-877-860-1373 or book online at www.ihgrewardsclub.com. *This is room only. Please be advised that once members use points 1st category of room (Standard Room) is assigned. Upgrades most likely will not be possible.
Q. Do you have a bar and restaurant on site?
A. Yes. We have 4 restaurants, 3 bars and 1 grab ‘n’ go coffee bar on site. Holiday Inn Resort Aruba, offers a variety of dining from casual to classic, from buffet style to a la carte. Theme nights with entertainment are scheduled throughout the week. As of March 2018 we have a brand new Carnival show.
Q. Can I order room service?
A. Yes. In Room Dining is available from 7:30am until 10:30pm. In Room Dining is not included in the All Inclusive Package or the Stay Longer and Save with Breakfast Package.
Q. What are the directions to the property?
A. Once you leave Queen Beatrix International Airport on to the main road, drive northwest heading to Palm Beach / Irausquin Hotel Street
Q. Do you have meeting space?
A. Yes. Our professional, experienced staff is here to ensure your event is a memorable experience. We feature a total of 4,224 square feet of meeting & banquets space. For more information, please contact our sales office during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm.
Q. Do you allow pets?
A. We do not allow pets, with the exception of service animals (proper certificate required). For your convenience, guests with service animals will be assigned rooms on the ground floors.
Q. Is it allowed to smoke in rooms?
A. All 590 rooms are non-smoking in the Holiday Inn Resort Aruba- Beach Resort. The hotel will impose $250 penalty if smoking has taken place in the room as we need to provide special treatment when smoking has taken place. Please be advised that the patio/balcony is considered part of the guest room.
Q. Do you have ADA rooms?
A. Yes. The Holiday Inn Resort Aruba is in full compliance with ADA guidelines. We have several guestrooms fully equipped with wheelchair-accessible features. If you have any additional questions about this, or to request an accessible room, please call us at 297-586-3600 / (Local) 855-446-6282
Q. How does the all-inclusive package work?
A. All our guests who have booked an all-inclusive package will be given a wristband at 4:00 pm. Children will receive one color (non-alcoholic) and the adults receive another color (alcohol) wristband. Since you wear the wristband of the All Inclusive Package our servers will recognize you as all-inclusive and not charge your room unless there is a surcharge item you requested. However please keep in mind for control purposes (as we are not a full All Inclusive Resort ) and In order to keep track of the taxes we will ask that you sign each receipt. The drinks include soft drinks, bottled water, house spirits, draft beer and house wine. Top shelf brands are not included in the All Inclusive Package and guest shall pay the full price. In the restaurants some menu items may have a surcharge, though only a few. There is an icon on each Restaurant's food menu stating which food item may have a surcharge. The Puro Coffee grab ‘n’ go shop all items except canned soft drink and bottled juices are included in the All Inclusive Package.
Q. What exactly is included in the All Inclusive Package?
A. All restaurants are included on our All Inclusive Package. Each menu have icons which indicates which food menu item is included and will have an AI Surcharge. The Corals Breakfast Buffet and the 2 theme nights are included in the All Inclusive Package.

Q. How do you know what's not included in the All Inclusive Package?
A. Each menu of our restaurants and bars has icons that indicate which food menu item is included. If a menu item has a surcharge then the price for AI will be next to the menu list price. The Corals Breakfast Buffet and the theme night buffets are included in the All Inclusive package.
Q. How much does the All Inclusive Package cost? Can I add it during Check In?
A. Yes, you may upgrade your reservation to All Inclusive during your check in. As per July 1st 2018, the cost will be of $109 per person per night for a minimum of 3 nights. If you stay with us 5 nights or more the price will be $99 per person per night. If you have breakfast included in your room rate, then you may add the All Inclusive Package for the price of $84 per person per night for a 3 night minimum stay. This is per person per day pricing. All Inclusive Package includes service charge and Government Tax. If you should choose to partake of the All Inclusive Package there is a minimum of 3 nights and this will be applied to the final nights of your stay.
Q. When should I leave the Resort to catch my flight?
A. Based on Aruba Airport Authority recommendations, all guests with flights to the US are recommended to be at the airport 3 hours prior to your flight departure time. All other flights at least 2 hours prior.
