March 15th, 2020
To our valued guests,
Our highest priority at Holiday Inn Resort Aruba is the safety and wellbeing of our guests and associates. This is why, following the Government of Aruba’s guidelines, we have suspended operations in an effort to help reduce the spread of COVID-19.
On March 15th, the Government of Aruba has made the difficult, but necessary decision to mandate a suspension of all inbound travel to Aruba by non-residents of Aruba. This is and will be in effect until further notice.
May we all show the spirit of true hospitality to our family, friends and neighbors while we take steps to protect each other and stay healthy. We’re in this together.
Please continue to visit the Travel Advisory for more real-time information on our updated policies or how to manage a current reservation:
We understand that travel disruptions may occur, and know that flexibility is what our guests are looking for right now. With that in mind, we wanted to update you on the actions we have taken in response to the outbreak.
Cancellation Policy & Booking Flexibly
Given the flexibility our guests and customers need right now we have implemented the following policies:
For Existing Bookings:
Existing bookings (bookings made through April 6, 2020) at all IHG hotels* can be changed or cancelled for stays up to June 30, 2020.
Also, due to the very fluid ongoing scheduling changes of carriers operating to and from Aruba's Airport, we advise you to check out the daily flight schedules on: www.airportaruba.com
Please continue to follow the advice of the World Health Organization.
We understand this causes disruption to your travel plans, but your safety and the wellbeing of our colleagues continues to be our number one priority. We all can’t wait to welcome you back with a warm smile to our One Happy Island.
